L&T Group Celebrates the Silver Jubilee AGM of ‘Gujarat ki Garima’, Group Chairman AM Naik

Gujarat: Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian multinational engaged in EPC Projects, Hi-Tech Manufacturing and Services, is honoured to announce that its esteemed Group Chairman, Mr. A.M. Naik – a Padma Vibhushan awardee and also the recipient of the “Gujarat ki Garima” award – will be attending his Silver Jubilee Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 9th August 2023.

A mechanical engineer by profession, Mr. Naik joined his dream company Larsen & Toubro on 15th March 1965. Thereafter, it has been an eventful journey for him where he rose through the ranks quickly to ultimately take charge of the Company as CEO in 1999. He has been instrumental in elevating the stature of L&T and making its one of the nation’s leading engineering and construction companies. Under his able leadership, L&T’s transition into a tech-driven engineering conglomerate has played a pivotal role in fast-tracking the country’s infrastructure creation, and the Company has also successfully diversified into the hi-tech manufacturing and services, specifically into areas of national importance. The Group’s impressive trajectory of growth and success and its emergence into a global brand with a presence in more than 50 countries can be largely attributed to Mr. Naik’s bold vision and his indomitable spirit to drive the team to achieve that vision.

As Mr. Naik steps into his Silver Jubilee AGM, this meeting holds special significance, not just for the man himself but for the entire L&T Group. It is a commemoration of his 58 years of service, which Mr. Naik prefers to be referred to as ‘devotion’.
