Bengaluru : Eka Care is the preferred clinic management partner of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL), the second biggest Association of Dermatologists in the world after the American Academy of Dermatology. More than 12,500 individuals in the IADVL network will have access to Eka Care’s Clinical Management Solution thanks to the platform’s connectivity. The Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India, Dr. Bharti Pawar, presided over a virtual event announcing the cooperation.

Dr. Bharti Pawar expressed her delight at the collaboration between IADVL and Eka Care. She said that dermatologists are pushed for time and that it is difficult for them to manage patients’ clinical data.   Effective patient care, data administration, and analysis and research are urgent needs that may be met with a technological solution like Eka Care.

As a result of this partnership, IADVL members will have access to a comprehensive, encrypted platform that includes tools for scheduling, communicating, dispensing digital prescriptions, accepting payments, analysing data, establishing an online presence, and much more.

At the ceremony, Eka Care Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Deepak Tuli remarked, “We are honoured and excited to work with the IADVL association, one of the oldest medical associations in India, in developing solutions for their members.” We’re certain that our technology will help medical professionals everywhere provide better care to their patients.

More than 18,000 doctors have signed up with Eka Care since it was founded in December 2020 by Vikalp Sahni, Deepak Tuli, and Abhishek Begerhotta. Eka Care’s ultimate goal is to improve health outcomes by establishing a digitally empowered and linked healthcare ecosystem between healthcare providers and their patients.

Dr. Vijay Zawar, President of IADVL, had this to say about the partnership: “We realise the value of protected technology in keeping patient medical history and profiles. With Eka’s innovative platform, dermatologists can deliver better care by quickly storing & accessing patient information and increasing treatment results. Eka Care simplifies the process of storing, retrieving, and following a patient’s profile. By working together, we can improve dermatological treatment for patients and usher in a new era in the field.
