Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 : Gujarat woos Japan businessmen

Gandhinagar : Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel on November 29 said that Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 will play an important role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of seeing India as a developed nation by 2047.

He was addressing over 200 businessmen and professionals during a roadshow in Tokyo, Japan. November 29 is Patel’s fourth day of Japan visit.

During his tenure as the chief minister of Gujarat, Modi took the investors’ summit, started by former chief minister Keshubhai Patel, to another level. This biennial event attracts people from trade and industry in India and abroad in thousands.

The chief minister said that the state is focussing on green growth to help achieve Modi’s target of emissions to net zero by 2027.

Mentioning that Gujarat is policy driven and has proactive approach, Patel invited Japanese companies and businessmen to be part of VGGS 2024.

He said that Japan-India-Gujarat relations can be taken to another level by close coordination of Japan’s experience and capacities, entrepreneurship in Gujarat and talent of youth.

Gujarat chief secretary Raj Kumar spoke about Indo-Japan relations and made a mention of Ahmedabad-Mumbai high speed rail and Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor.
