Mumbai : Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust is a non-profit organisation that works to improve the lives of India’s poor people. The charity has lately started a wonderful cause of delivering raincoats to disadvantaged children in rural Maharashtra to help them get through the rainy season.

The monsoon season in India is lovely, but it may be difficult, particularly for people who cannot afford rain gear. Children who must travel great distances to school are especially sensitive to the rain, which may cause a variety of health problems. Recognising the need, the Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust launched a raincoat distribution programme for such youngsters.

The project intends to provide raincoats to at least 2000 impoverished children in rural Maharashtra. The raincoats will be given to children who live in places with little resources, such as government schools, anganwadis, and orphanages.

The occasion began with a magnificent ceremony in which officials from the charity distributed raincoats to the first round of youngsters. Their happiness was infectious. They were appreciative for the gift, which would make their life simpler during the rainy season.

The charity is dedicated to improving the lives of poor children, and this effort is only the beginning. It is also devoted to aiding poor people in India with education, medical care, and a better life.

The Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust’s endeavour to donate raincoats to disadvantaged children is an admirable attempt to assist them during the rainy season. Their efforts will go a long way towards improving the lives of individuals who cannot afford the necessities. The charity has shown how tiny acts of kindness can have a significant impact on society. We hope that many more individuals and organisations will join this wonderful cause and help the country’s poor.
