SpiceJet to Commence Direct Flights Between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya

Ahmedabad : In the wake of Indigo paving the way, SpiceJet, a major player in the airline industry, has decided to initiate direct flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya.

The new air route is set to commence operations from February 1, 2024. SpiceJet’s service will operate six days a week, with Wednesdays being the only exception, connecting Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad to Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham.

The flight schedule entails takeoff from SVPI Airport at 6 am, reaching Ayodhya at 8 am. For the return journey, the Ayodhya departure is slated for 12:30 pm, with a landing in Ahmedabad at 2:25 pm. Commencing at an initial fare of approximately ₹4500 for a single journey, SpiceJet aims to provide a seamless and convenient travel experience between the two cities.

As per the information available on the SpiceJet website, the airline plans to operate this service from February 1st to March 30th initially, catering to the travel needs of devotees and passengers planning visits to the sacred city of Ayodhya during this period.

The introduction of direct flights not only enhances accessibility for pilgrims but also offers a viable travel option for individuals seeking a faster and more efficient connection between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya.
