Reena Rai to host the fifth season of Miss TransQueenIndia with Deepa Ardhnareshwar Empowerment Foundation

New Delhi : The fifth season of Miss TransQueenIndia, hosted by trans activist Reena Rai, has finally arrived. The Deepa Ardhnareshwar Empowerment Foundation is sponsoring this event, which will feature a competition between 12 transgender women from across the country for the title of Miss TransQueenIndia.

Four of this year’s winners will go on to represent India at major international Transwomen pageants like Miss International Trans, Miss World Equality, Queen Trans World, and Miss Trans Infinity, making this year’s competition the largest one yet.

Tiruchi Siva, a member of parliament and advocate for the Trans bill, will be the event’s chief guest. Ritesh Malik and Shruti Malik are among the other notable attendees.

Reena Rai, creator of Miss TransQueenIndia, is thrilled to bring the competition back for a fifth season. Our mission is to give transgender women a place to shine, both as individuals and as representatives of the transgender community, and to bring attention to the challenges they face. We have faith that our winners will represent us well on the international stage.

Rai continued, “We are ecstatic to have such illustrious guests at our event.” Their presence will help bring more attention to the struggles of the transgender community and serve as further proof of the significance of our cause.

At the event, already-registered Canadian pageant Miss Trans Infinity will make its international debut alongside the Miss TransQueenIndia pageant. The Pride Group of Hotels is the driving force behind the event, and Toxsik Bar Restaurant and Club is collaborating with them as a venue for the Gala dinner and talent quest.

The Miss TransQueenIndia pageant will take place on 7th April 2023 at The Pride Plaza Aerocity, New Delhi.
