Gujarat NEWS : Boiler Explosion at Narol’s Stabicon Vitamin Pharma Factory Injures Six

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT: A devastating fire erupted in the Narol area of Ahmedabad late Wednesday night following a boiler explosion at the Stabicon Vitamin Pharma factory located in Sardar Estate. The explosion prompted an immediate response from emergency services, with over five fire department vehicles and four 108 ambulances rushing to the scene.

The incident occurred near Shahwadi in the Narol area, sending shockwaves through the local community. According to fire brigade officials, the initial call reporting the fire came into their control room, leading to the deployment of firefighting units.

“When we received the message about the fire at the Stabicon Vitamin Pharma factory, we immediately dispatched five vehicles to the site,” said a fire brigade official. “Upon arrival, our team was met with the sudden burst of the boiler, which exacerbated the situation.”

The explosion resulted in injuries to six individuals, including the factory owner and five employees. The injured were quickly transported to a nearby hospital by the 108 ambulance services for urgent medical treatment.

“The fire was intense, but our team managed to bring it under control using water cannons,” the official added. “The immediate concern was to ensure the safety of the individuals inside and prevent further damage.”

Witnesses described a scene of chaos and urgency as firefighters battled the blaze and emergency medical personnel tended to the injured. The exact condition of the injured individuals remains uncertain at this time.

“The sudden explosion was terrifying,” said a local resident who witnessed the incident. “There was a loud bang, and then we saw flames and smoke billowing from the factory. It’s a relief that the fire brigade and ambulances arrived so quickly.”

The cause of the boiler explosion is currently under investigation. Authorities are examining whether there were any lapses in safety protocols or maintenance issues that could have contributed to the incident.
