AMA’s Management Week celebrations begin with Intellectual Property Summit 2024

The week-long celebration will continue till February 17 and will be marked by a series of seminars, summits, workshops, and discussions around various aspects of management, conducted by revered industry experts.

Ahmedabad : The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) in Ahmedabad, which is the founding member of All India Management Association (AIMA), began the celebration of ‘Management Week’ by organising the Intellectual Property Summit 2024 on Saturday. Honourable Justice Manmohan Singh, the retired judge of the Delhi High Court, who is also the chairman of IP Appellate Board (IPAB). This summit was organized under the auspices of ‘Y. J. Trivedi – AMA Academy for Intellectual Property Rights.’

The week-long celebration will continue till February 17 and will be marked by a series of seminars, summits, workshops, and discussions around various aspects of management, conducted by revered industry experts.

Mr. Suryadeep Basiya, Head – Gujarati Category, Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd; Ms Bindi Urvish Shah, Co-Founder, BU4 Auto; and Mr Nishant Sheokand, Associate Dean and Associate Professor, Vinayaka Mission’s Law School addressed the summit on the theme “IP Generation & Monetization Strategies – Sports, Entertainment & Automobile.” This session was moderated by Mr Anubhav Kapoor, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Chairman’s Office South Asia, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited.

Dr Manish Shah, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Shah Hospital; Ms. Lakshika Joshi, Legal Leadership & Global IP Head, Capgemini Engineering; and Mr. Sandip Singh, CEO-Ishitva Robotic Systems addressed on the theme ‘IPR : Implications of Emerging Technologies.’

The session was moderated by Dr Nidhi Buch, Associate Professor at Gujarat National Law University, Head Internships and Placement division and Head GNLU centre for IPR.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is a federation of Local Management Associations. AIMA celebrates its Foundation Day on February 21 every year, which has also been declared as ‘National Management Day’ in India. To mark the occasion, AMA will be celebrating the Management Week.

“Such a platforms  helps bringing together experts and individuals to brainstorm on rapidly changing business environment due to technological developments,” said Dr Jaimin Vasa, Executive Committee Member, AMA.
