Adani Cement & BharatCares Launch ‘Swasthya Manch’ for Adolescent Health in Dahej

Dahej : BharatCares and Adani Cement Industries Ltd., in collaboration with Adani Foundation, launched the Swasthya Manch initiative with the aim of promoting adolescent health and well-being in 10 villages of Dahej area of Vagra taluka. To encourage the boys and girls who have successfully completed the training, a felicitation ceremony was organized at Suva Primary School on 11/03/2025. In the program, the children were felicitated with certificates, incentive compensation and kits. The children also presented their experiences during the training in the program from the stage.

Taluka Health Officer Praveen Singh, Environment Head Mr. Kalubhai Goyani (ACIL), Safety Officers Mr. Dharmik Goswami and Mr. Ranjan Singh (ACIL), Program Manager Mrs. Smita Ghosh (BharatCares), Team of Adani Foundation, Bharatcares and school staff were present at the ceremony.

At the beginning of the program, Smita Ghosh said in her speech that a lot of work is done for the health of adolescent girls, but the specialty of this program is that the health of adolescent boys has also been covered with equal importance in the program.

Kalubhai Goyani said that infrastructure is very important for the development of the country. In which Adani Cement is operating in various parts of the country and Adani Cement has been carrying out various development works under its corporate environmental responsibility. The health of adolescents is essential for the development of the country, which is the main objective of this program.

On the occasion, Praveen Singh said “Health is a broad and important topic. The Adani team, in collaboration with BharatCares, has taken a commendable step, with this beautiful initiative to cover adolescent health with adolescents.  Along with health, the program also features children coming on stage and presenting their ideas, which is a matter of pride.
