Ahmedabad: Travelers rejoice! Air India is finally offering a direct flight between Mumbai and Bhuj, starting March 1, 2024. This much-anticipated connection fulfills a long-standing demand from residents of both cities and promises to boost tourism and business alike.

“We are thrilled to bridge the gap between these two vibrant destinations,” said a jubilant Air India spokesperson in a recent statement. “This new service caters to the needs of travellers seeking a convenient and comfortable journey, while also opening up international and domestic connections through our extensive network.”

Operated by the reliable A320 family of single-aisle aircraft, the daily flight AI 601 departs Mumbai at the brisk hour of 7:05 AM, reaching Bhuj in 75 minutes by 8:20 AM. The return flight, AI602, whisks passengers back from Bhuj at 8:55 AM, touching down in Mumbai by 10:10 AM.

But the convenience doesn’t stop there. This new service unlocks a treasure trove of onward connections, both international and domestic. Passengers can seamlessly hop onto flights to the UK, North America, Dubai, and Singapore, or explore approximately 20 other Indian cities within Air India’s network.

Booking for these flights is now open, welcoming eager travelers through Air India’s official website, mobile app, and a vast network of travel agents, including online platforms.
