SGCCI Unveils New Logo and Roadmap for Global Fabric Expo 2026 in Surat

SGCCI transitions WeaveKnit Exhibition to a global platform featuring embroidery, digital prints, and garments.

Surat | Gujarat — The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI)  organized a launching ceremony with a new logo for the new chapter of WeaveKnit Exhibition, ‘SGCCI Global Fabric Expo-2026’, at La Fountain, Varachha. The official unveiling and new logo unveiling of the SGCCI Global Fabric Expo-2026 was enthusiastically received by the guests present, industry leaders, exhibitors and members of the chamber.

SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi, said that the Chamber is continuously making efforts to provide new opportunities, international connections and business growth to the industries and the new chapter of the WeaveKnit Exhibition, ‘SGCCI Global Fabric Expo’ is an important step in that direction. He said that change is the law of the world and change is the first step of any development. The new year is starting very well. The target can be reached by proper planning.

SGCCI vice-president Ashok Jirawala, said that earlier only weavers and knitters could exhibit in the Vivinet Exhibition, but the SGCCI Global Fabric Expo, launched with a new logo, has covered the entire value chain of textiles including embroidery and digital print, foil print, position print. This expo will include all fabrics including garment fabrics and will take Surat’s fabrics to the international level.

He said that to take Surat’s fabrics from local to global, buyers from abroad will be brought to the SGCCI Global Fabric Expo. Launched with a new logo, efforts are being made to take this expo to the global level, so that the entire value chain of the textile industry will benefit from it. The chamber is trying to open a global door for the textile industry through this expo. Further, he advised the entrepreneurs to do research and development in the product and make patterns.

Group chairman of SGCCI Kiran Thummar, said that the best medium to showcase the product at a global level is an exhibition. The fourth edition of the Vivinet Exhibition was launched by the Chamber of Commerce, now it will be launched as the SGCCI Global Fabric Expo to take it to a global level, in which he requested textile entrepreneurs to exhibit.

The first edition of the SGCCI Global Fabric Expo will be held on 26th, 27th and 28th June, 2026, in which exhibitors, buyers and textile sector leaders and experts from every corner of the country will participate. A road show will be organized for this. Exhibitors will get new buyers in this expo.

Industry leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and members of the chamber associated with textile, fabric, garment and the entire textile industry were present in the program.
