Alap Patel Appointed CREDAI Gujarat President at AGM in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad | Gujarat — CREDAI Gujarat organised its Annual General Meeting and ‘Change of Guard’ ceremony in Ahmedabad. On this occasion, Alap Patel was appointed as the president of CREDAI Gujarat, while other new office-bearers were appointed. These new office-bearers will serve for the term 2025–26.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel attended the Change of Guard ceremony and AGM of CREDAI Gujarat. 

The Chief Minister stated that India has reached a stage where it is well-positioned to meet global benchmarks. He noted that the infrastructure and real estate sectors are moving ahead with strong confidence and the ability to respond to changing demands. He also spoke about Gujarat’s infrastructure development policies, stating that these efforts are helping shape modern, eco-friendly infrastructure across the state. 

The CM appreciated the real estate sector’s positive outlook toward these policies. The CM added that important elements such as green cover and water harvesting are being prioritised in new projects. He encouraged the sector to contribute meaningfully to the policymaking process by offering constructive suggestions. Emphasising ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’, he said, 

“It is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that our country becomes self-reliant.” He assured that the government is open to hearing the concerns of the real estate sector and is committed to ensuring that no one faces unnecessary disadvantages. He further noted that the goal is to achieve self-reliance while adhering to global standards in the construction sector. Every scheme should reflect this benchmark, and there must be no compromise on quality or compliance at any level.

On this occasion, Dhruv Patel stated, “With landmark projects like GIFT City, the Olympic Dream, and Dholera, Ahmedabad is at the threshold of a new era. The growth of the real estate sector in Gujarat—particularly in Ahmedabad is accelerating with the support of the state government.” 

Newly appointed President Alap Patel remarked, “Ahmedabad is on its way to becoming the financial capital and industrial hub of the country. With the world closely observing the city’s infrastructure progress, the responsibility of all stakeholders in the real estate sector has significantly increased.”

The program emphasised strengthening government-industry collaboration for the growth of Gujarat’s real estate sector, alongside the appointment of new CREDAI Gujarat and Ahmedabad office-bearers. The event was also attended by business leaders associated with the real estate sector from Ahmedabad and across Gujarat.
