Kaushalya – The Skill University Signs MoU for Global Skill Development

Gandhinagar : Kaushalya – The Skill University (KSU), a state university under the Labour, Skill Development, and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat, has signed a significant tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FIND-JOBS Germany and Dr. Skill Outreach Pvt. Ltd., India, at its Chandkheda campus, Ahmedabad.

The primary objective of this MoU is to create a collaborative framework for developing a skilled workforce in the Tourism, Hospitality, and Logistics sectors. This partnership will focus on designing industry-relevant curricula, facilitating hands-on training, and ensuring better employability for students. Additionally, it will enable faculty development programs, training-of-trainer (ToT) initiatives, and engagement with industry experts to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Through this collaboration, students will gain access to internship and apprenticeship opportunities, enhancing their practical exposure and preparing them for global career prospects. Furthermore, the MoU includes provisions for organizing upskilling and reskilling programs through specialized bridge courses, ensuring continuous professional growth in these sectors.

The signing ceremony was graced by Prof(Dr) S P Singh, Director General, Rekha Nair Registrar, Dr Manish Gupata, Director Academics, and Shri Pankaj Mistry, Chief Skill Coordinator from KSU  along with Mr. Alexander Hauser, CEO of FIND-JOBS Germany, and Mr. Sudhanshu Jangir, CEO of Dr. Skill Outreach Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, the representatives expressed their commitment to strengthening skill development initiatives and creating international career pathways for Indian youth. This collaboration is expected to open new avenues for students by connecting them with global employment opportunities and equipping them with industry-relevant expertise.
