Surat : Canara Bank Empowers Women and MSMEs at Mega Credit Outreach Camp

Surat : On the occasion of the first visit of Canara Bank Executive Director, Shri Ashok Chandra, the Surat Regional Office held a Mega MSME Credit Outreach Camp on November 8, 2023. Shri Shambhu Lal, Circle Head-Ahmedabad, and Shri Sudhansu S. Sahoo, Regional Head-Surat, also attended the ceremony. Many potential MSME clients were in attendance, and ED Shri Ashok Chandra handed down penalties.

As Canara Bank is also commemorating Founders Month and SHG month this November, a SHG camp was held for the social empowerment of women in the august presence of Executive Director Shri Ashok Chandra.

ED Shri Chandra briefed the gathering of all the key steps done by the bank to increase market share via changes purchased in the region specific Textile plan as well as many new products under retail segments that are fairly competitive and appealing rates for housing and other retail goods. The day concluded with the establishment of contacts with HNI consumers. Customers praised the bank’s efforts in organising similar events.

Additionally, Shri Ashok Chandra told all borrowers that Canara Bank is available for every sort of business requirement while also being devoted to its social duties. On this date, a Town Hall meeting was also held for all city and adjacent branch personnel.
