New Delhi : Examination of the uterine cavity’s regularity and form is a crucial part of any infertility workup. Uterine fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, and endometrial polyps are all examples of acquired uterine lesions that may prevent an embryo from implanting and growing normally, which can lead to infertility. Common congenital abnormalities of the uterus are also thought to have a significant influence in postponing spontaneous pregnancy. When hysteroscopy is required to examine the uterine cavity as part of the infertility workup, it is far more accurate than other diagnostic procedures, especially HSG. This is also the most common reason why doctors recommend a diagnostic hysterectomy.

It has been estimated that uterine abnormalities account for more than one-third of the cases of incorrect HSG interpretation, suggesting that these conditions are a major contributor to infertility. Women who have a missing intrauterine lesion may undergo unnecessary treatment or testing. Complete and reliable diagnosis of intrauterine anomalies that may impact endometrial receptivity and implantation may be achieved with diagnostic hysteroscopy. Insights gained by hysteroscopy allow doctors to more effectively treat their patients, leading to higher pregnancy rates and shorter treatment cycles.

Safe and accurate diagnosis and treatment are made possible by the Truclear from Medtronics, which is brought to you by GenWorks. As this is a see-and-treat technique, it puts a stop to the harmful yet antiquated practise of blind surgeries. Minimally invasive surgical treatment for the removal of aberrant tissue or growths from the uterine cavity using the mechanical hysteroscopy tissue removal device. A narrow, illuminated device called a hysteroscope is introduced through the vagina and cervix into the uterus to complete the procedure.

Hysteroscopy is a procedure in which devices are inserted into the uterus to remove polyps, fibroids, or the uterine septum. A morcellator is often used as part of the minimally invasive method; it shreds the tissue into tiny pieces that can be more easily extracted. When compared to conventional hysteroscopic procedures, this one permits the removal of more substantial tissue samples.

The uterus may be saved and there is less chance of scarring or other complications when using the mechanical Hysteroscopy tissue removal technique. As an outpatient treatment, patients often recover and return home the same day. No operating room, no anaesthesia, no suction D&C, incomplete evacuation, and no energy-induced damage; minimal or no uterine dilation; office Hysteroscopy for operative work; faster see-and-treat methodology helps preserve precious time during the procedure cycles; technique is fertility-conserving.

GenWorks is introducing these minimally invasive technologies to India in an effort to boost IVF success rates and reduce the risk of complications. Many people are curious about this innovation, and some of the first adopters are IVF specialists in Tier 2 cities. This shift is much appreciated since it will have a significant effect on local results and safe treatments without requiring patients to go to Metros, which may overburden the healthcare system in these areas.

GenWorks has taken the initiative to compile cutting-edge tools for women’s health for the first time. GenWorks Healthcare’s founder, MD, and CEO, S Ganesh Prasad, stated, “We serve the maximum number of women’s health specialists in our country and hence are able to put together solutions from early screening to safe treatment.” Mr. Prasad elaborated, saying, “GenWorks’ goal for women’s health is to affect wellbeing and safe treatment. We place a premium on women and their well-being because we recognise their contributions to society. TruClear presents a significant possibility for safe treatment and almost complete escape from outmoded procedures that compromise the health of our women.
