Gandhidham : Sixth seed Ahmedabad’s Dhairya Parmar got the better of fourth seed Burhanudin Malubhai of Surat 4-2 to walk away with the men’s title, his first of this season, on  the last day of the IndianOil 3rd Gujarat State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2023 organised by Kachchh District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) under the aegis of Gujarat State Table Tennis Association at the Late Shri M.P Mittra Indoor Stadium, Haresh Sangtani Sports Complex in Gandhidham.

In the women’s final, third seed Radhapriya Goel of Gandhinagar, who missed the last state ranking, brushed aside 12th seed Oishiki Joardar of Ahmedabad 4-1 to bag her second women’s title of the season.

Putting the men’s final loss aside, second seed Burhanuddin thrashed top seed Arman Shaikh of Aravali 4-0 to claim the U-19 boys’ title.

Ahmedabad paddler Mouboni Chatterjee claimed the double crown by winning the U-15 and U-17 girls titles by beating Jiya Trivedi and Arnee Parmar respectively.

Mouboni was in line for a triple crown but third seed Oishiki stopped the fourth seed’s charge with a hard-fought 4-3 victory to grab the U-19 girls title.

Girls U-11 title went to second seed Tanisha Deputy of Surat while Ansh Khamar won the U-11 boys crown.

Top seed Jenil Patel emerged winner in the U-13 boys final while girls U-13 title went to top seed Daniya Godil. Malav Panchal finished on top in U-15 boys final while Ayush Tanna bagged the U-17 boys crown.
