World Premiere of Parchaaiyaan Short Film on Zee5 & Dimension on Demand – DOD

New Delhi : Parchaaiyaan will be streaming on Zee5 & Dimension on DEMAND – DOD OTT platforms.

This romantic tale premiered in the renowned 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The film’s creators have announced that it will have its world premiere on April 28 of that year (2023).

The remarkable trio of Tanuj Virwani, Sezal Sharma, and Hemant Kher star in the short film “Parchaaiyaan,” directed by Chandrakant Singh and produced by Chandrakant Singh and Liaquat Gola.

The film “Parchaaiyaan” pays homage to India’s most renowned poet and lyricist, whose life narrative serves as a source of motivation for today’s youth and the next generation of filmmakers. Many of Sahir Saab’s films, including Taj Mahal and Kabhi Kabhie, earned him nominations and awards at the annual Filmfare ceremony. His work in such great films as “Pyaasa,” “Naya Daur,” and “Phir Subah Hogi” was excellent, and his songs were huge hits.

Chandrakant Singh told the Media Director, “It’s fantastic news for the whole Parchaaiyaan crew. Our film will debut on Zee5 and DOD (Dimension on Demand). I consider myself to be Sahir Ludhianvi Ji’s biggest admirer. On March 8, 2022, Sahir ji, a remarkable Urdu poet and lyricist, would have celebrated his 102nd birthday. I felt this was the most fitting approach to honour his memory. Tanuj Virwani, Sezal Sharma, and Hemant Kher, along with my producer Liaquat Gola, are a joy to work with.
