Bharuch : A traffic brigade personnel working with the Bharuch Traffic Education Trust (BTET) indulged in thrashing a truck driver at the ABC intersection on the Bharuch-Dahej state highway here on Wednesday. A video has gone viral in Bharuch district about the dastardly act of the traffic brigade personnel.

Sources said the incident occurred on Wednesday morning. An unidentified driver of the transport truck was stuck in the traffic at the ABC intersection on the Bharuch-Dajeh state highway. A few traffic constables including two brigade personnel arrived at the spot and entered into heat arguments with the truck driver.

Suddenly, BTET personnel appeared from nowhere and attacked the truck driver. A commuter passing from the ABC intersection shot the video and uploaded it on social media platforms.

Sources said the BTET personnel are appointed for managing the traffic situation in the Bharuch district. However, they have no right to even ask for a driving license or assault the commuters and truck drivers etc.
