Surat (Gujarat) : A couple of renowned directors and producers in Bollywood are vying to get their hands on a masterpiece created by Surat-based diamond jewellery manufacturing company. Known as ‘Crocodile Necklace’ made of real diamonds, colour stones, and 330 grams of gold is soon going to adorn the top-notch Bollywood actress.
This real diamond crocodile necklace is being displayed at the four-day long ROOTZ gems and jewellery exhibition organized by the Surat Jewellery Manufacturers Association (SJMA) at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC) at Sarsana in Surat. The gems and jewellery exhibition was inaugurated by Gujarat’s Minister of State for Education Praful Panseria in the presence of jewellery industry leaders from Surat on Friday.
The real diamond crocodile necklace is crafted using about 8,000 diamonds, 7000 colour gemstones, and 330 grams of gold. The necklace costs an approximate Rs 30 lakh in value.
Samir Mehta, owner of the diamond jewellery manufacturing company said, “We have designed the crocodile necklace, which is a masterpiece in India. AS soon as the pictures of the necklace went viral in the jewellery groups in Mumbai, we got many inquiries from Bollywood for the deal. But this necklace is already owned by our client from Bollywood and will soon adorn the neck of some sizzling Bollywood actress”
