Swarrnim University clocks 96% placements in Academic Year 2023-24

Ahmedabad : Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat announced the successful completion of its placement rounds for the Academic Year 2023-24. During the year, students grabbed opportunities in leading startups, multinational corporations and conglomerates, demonstrating a remarkable placement rate of 96%.

Students from different disciplines including B. Tech (Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering), BSC Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, BBA, MBA, BCOM, BCA, MCA, Diploma, and M. Tech with Computer Science successfully got placed. Each of the students secured a high position and package.

In AY 2024, students were offered an average package of Rs 5.4 lakh per annum, with the highest package reaching Rs 84 lakh.

This year, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University has seen a marked rise in the number of students participating in the placement process as well as the diversity of companies visiting the campus.

In the AY 2024, around 258 companies have participated on campus and off campus both either is virtual mode or face to face mode in the university’s placement round from sectors such as service, information technology, healthcare, telecommunication, automobile, and manufacturing, among others. These include industry giants like Flipkart, Maruti Suzuki, AstraZeneca, TCS, American Express, Indiamart, L’Oréal, Byju’s, Axis Bank, Wipro, and QSPIDER Private Limited,

Students of the university namely Jainesh Prajapati, Sharad S Panchal, and Jaiswal Vinit Kumar Mukesh Kumar, were among the top recipients from the computer science engineering of the highest packages. Additionally, Dhiral Chaudhary, an outstanding performer, secured admissions in seven US-based universities and out of which she got Cornell University, New York for the Post Graduate study in computer science.

Faculty members at the university facilitate campus recruitment training, customised training in line with company requirements, mock drives, and a series of seminars and webinars to prepare students for the placement rounds.
