Surat : Youth arrested for gifting soul sister a phone with a lewd movie on Raksha Bandhan

Surat: During the Raksha Bandhan celebration, the diamond city of Surat saw a case that stigmatises brother-sister relationships.

A young guy who lived next door to her in Dindoli, Surat and was tying a rakhi to his soul sister gave her a phone on the night of the Raksha Bandhan holiday. The little girl was shocked to see five explicit videos on the phone that the accused, Mayur Sharma, had handed her.

Dejected and worried, the child told her parents what had happened. The furious parents immediately called the Dindoli police station and reported the accused.

The police say they have located and detained the suspect. For a year, he had been secretly after the little girl with the intention of becoming friends. He was reprimanded after the parent of the minor girl found out about his sinister plans.  Even when she was in school, he stalked her and made an effort to seize her.

According to the Dindoli police, a FIR has been filed and the culprit has been taken into custody. The defendant works for a private business.
