Surat : Stray dog menace continues, 2-year-old boy attacked in Parvatgam

Surat : The relentless issue of stray dog attacks continues to plague the diamond city of Surat, as a heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Parvatgam.

A two-year-old boy named Shivansh fell victim to a vicious stray dog attack while innocently playing near his residence. The dog’s assault left the toddler in a pool of distress, underscoring the urgent need for action to address the city’s growing stray dog problem.

Shivansh, a resident of Parvatgam in Surat, was engrossed in play near his home when tragedy struck. Without warning, a stray dog pounced on the unsuspecting child, targeting his head and leaving him seriously injured. The brutal attack resulted in extensive head injuries for the young boy, necessitating immediate medical attention.

In a bid to address Shivansh’s critical condition, he was swiftly transported to the New Civil Hospital for treatment. Medical professionals at the hospital were compelled to administer seven stitches to his head to treat the bite injuries sustained during the traumatic encounter with the stray dog.

This incident has once again amplified concerns among local residents in Parvatgam and various other neighborhoods throughout the city regarding the escalating number of dog bite cases.
