Surat : Thousands of pandals are enthralling observers with their different and inventive themes as the Ganesha celebration spreads throughout India. One pandal in Piplod, Surat, stands out not just for its stunning decorations, but also for its extraordinary devotion to aiding the poor and needy throughout the 10-day festival.

Ornob and Juhi Moitra, together with a committed group of friends, have been celebrating the Ganesha celebration in a unique manner. They have organised a Ganesha pandal in Piplod for the last three years, but their real uniqueness is their continued objective of feeding around 1,000 poor folks each day of the festival.

Ornob and his staff have been helping the less fortunate in Piplod via ‘Bhandara’ for the last five years, which is remarkable. Their reluctance to take monetary gifts from anybody distinguishes their endeavour. Instead, they see this service as a selfless act of compassion and generosity towards their neighbours.

“Our goal is to contribute to society by providing food to those in need and distributing stationery to underprivileged children,” claimed Ornob Moitra, a famous event management business with offices in Surat and Mumbai. Members of our club pool their resources to cover the costs of the daily Bhandaras, guaranteeing that the needy in Piplod get fed.”

Colours Events & Activations, situated in Surat, has been servicing customers countrywide for over 11 years. The firm specialises in commercial events and the development of intellectual assets that provide value and influence to a variety of stakeholders.

Ornob Moitra is the owner of Eventology, a website that provides event-related information and services, the creator of Mudfest, a unique adventure and wellness festival, and the creator of Miss Wow, an all-India beauty contest that empowers budding models.

In their noble quest to serve humanity, Ornob Moitra and his wife Juhi Moitra have found unwavering support from a dedicated team of individuals. These include Raj Varia, Rashesh Mahant, Nilesh Burra, Sunny Tiwari, Sachin Khenghar, Pappu Rai, Mihir Kothari, Twinkle Godhani, Samridhi Jain,  Jekin Patel,Shraddha Kothari, Monika Burra, Raina Mahant, Sneh Varia, Bhupendra Sangtani, Anjali Sangtani, Hemal Dani, Shivangi Dani, Nilkanth Rangoonwala, Rahul Songire, and Shiv Lankapati, Vaibhav Dugar, Chandan Pandey,Pratham Boliwal.
