Surat : A heart-wrenching incident  has occurred involving an 8th-grade girl. She took her own life by hanging from a ceiling fan at Priyankanagar society in Godadra, Surat on Tuesday.  This situation reportedly stemmed from her alleged experiences of mistreatment by the school administration over unpaid fees.

The family of the girl who passed away has leveled grave accusations against the teacher and principal of Aadarsh Public School in Godadara, holding them accountable for her tragic decision to take her own life.

The father of the deceased girl, Raju Khatik, reported that a teacher at Adarsh Public School in the Godadara area denied his daughter the opportunity to sit for the internal exam because of unpaid fees, leaving her standing outside the classroom for the entire day.

The student felt apprehensive about the consequences she faced at school and chose not to attend. While her parents were away for work, she tragically took her own life by hanging herself at home.

The school administration has dismissed the family’s allegations as unfounded. The school administration has clarified that discussions regarding school fees are not held with students, but rather directly with their parents. A young girl endured severe mistreatment at the hands of her family.

Raju Khatik, the father of the deceased student, reported that his daughter was not permitted to take her exam prior to Uttarayan at the school.

She was required to stand outside the classroom. Upon arriving home, she was overcome with tears. Upon reaching out to the school, I was advised to settle the fees as soon as possible.

He informed the school management that the fees are set to be deposited next month. Following that incident, his daughter chose not to attend school, and tragically, she took her own life by hanging. The students are subjected to harsh treatment by the school authorities.

Reports indicate that Rajubhai Khatik resides with his family in Priyanka Nagar Society, located in the Godadara area, and originates from Rajasthan.  The household is made up of a wife, two daughters, and a son. Rajubhai is providing for his family by operating a rickshaw.
