Six-year-old girl molested in Surat

Surat : Surat police have taken swift action in response to a distressing incident involving the sexual molestation of a six-year-old girl in the Uttran area. The accused allegedly lured the child by promising her firecrackers and subsequently assaulted her at a deserted location.

The victim, upon returning home, bravely disclosed the harrowing incident to her parents, prompting the family to take immediate action. They promptly reached out to the Uttran police, filing a formal complaint against the perpetrator for the alleged molestation.

Authorities moved swiftly, resulting in the arrest of Mahesh Shankar Rathore on charges relating to the molestation of the young girl. Uttran Police emphasized that Rathore was apprehended following the formal complaint lodged by the victim’s family.
