The expo would span 1.30 lakh square feet at the Surat International expo and Convention Centre in Sarasana. Textile machinery and accessories manufacturers will display their most sophisticated technology machinery in the Pillarless AC Dome, with over 50 exhibitors.

A mono mother yarn split warping machine worth Rs 1.20 crore will also be displayed at the STEX exhibition.

Textile machinery is becoming more technologically advanced. So far, machines with speeds ranging from 1100 to 1200 rpm have been presented at several Indian shows, while a machine with a speed of 1600 rpm will be displayed in Airjet.

According to Mukesh Patel, president of the Surat Techmac Federation, the exhibition’s main attractions would be airjet, water jet, mono spatting machines, and digital printing machines. Air jet machines produce 7 to 8 times more than conventional looms. Whereas a water jet machine produces 6 to 7 times more. Four years ago, digital printing machines could generate 1,000 meters in 24 hours; today, the digital printing machines on display at the exhibition can produce 6,000 meters in 24 hours. This machine can produce five times more.

According to Nikhil Madrasi, Vice President of SGCCI, the SITEX expo will be launched by Pabitra Margherita, Minister of Textile.Additional Textile Commissioner SP Verma will be present as a special guest.

Madrasi stated that the latest model of airjet and waterjet machinery manufactured in India will be displayed during the CTEX exhibition. The majority of airjet machines are cotton-based, although viscose and polyester airjet machines will also be displayed at the exhibition. This gear can also handle different yarns, resulting in a production efficiency of 95 to 96 percent.
