110 CCTV cameras to be monitored round the clock

According to police officials, more than 110 CCTV cameras installed at main intersections and side streets of Sachin GIDC will remain under continuous surveillance. The police advised all industrialists to ensure their internal CCTV systems are functional and to remain vigilant when handling large cash transactions.

During the holiday period, three police vehicles will patrol 24 hours a day across the GIDC to prevent incidents of theft or vandalism, supported by Sachin Notified Security staff.

Safety first: preventive measures for industries

Mayur Golwala, Secretary of Sachin Industrial Association, emphasized the importance of preventive safety steps, stating, “Every industrialist should switch off the capacitors of their units before the holidays to prevent power wastage and possible fire accidents. Safety cannot be an afterthought—it must be our first priority.”

Police officials also advised factory owners to collect Aadhaar and passport copies of watchmen deployed during the holidays to ensure better verification and accountability.
