Kolkata : The Prabha Khaitan Foundation’s (PKF) signature caller tune has been composed by Ricky Kej, a three-time Grammy Award winner from India. Kej has also curated a selection of twelve original pieces of music that will be used as the ‘Music of the Month’ for PKF events, social media, and communications across the globe.

PKF is proud to have worked with the three-time Grammy winner, whose dedication to his craft and concern for the planet have brought joy to millions.

The revered partnership, which began with the signature caller tune and continued through Prabha Khaitan Foundation’s joint initiative for the ReWear4Earth campaign, was elevated to a new level by his entrancing compositions centred on themes such as the natural world, the environment, humanity, and the spiritual dimension.

“I am very proud of this latest collaboration with Prabha Khaitan Foundation,” Ricky Kej stated of their work together. It’s a privilege to work with a group that places such a premium on India’s artistic and cultural heritage. I always look forward to seeing the Prabha Khaitan Foundation’s creative video invitations and reading their kind emails. That it will be connected with my music for a whole year is fantastic.

Each and every video invitation produced by the Prabha Khaitan Foundation has a traditional musical composition or Indian raga, such as Bagheshri or Brindabani Sarang. Using Ricky Kej’s fantastic compositions in our social media posts and video invitations is a refreshing change of pace.

This artist has created a treasure trove of music that celebrates the natural world and promotes environmental awareness. The importance of combating climate change and implementing more sustainable practises across all areas of society is a central theme in his music.

The range of his 12 songs is kaleidoscopic. His pure music encompasses River Ganga, River Cauvery, the mighty Himalayas, Mother Earth, Mahatma Gandhi, the official Land Anthem of United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, spirituality, and the golden philosophy of co-existence- ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which means ‘The World is One Family’. All his songs are a celebration of our Nature, our planet, pure unadulterated love in a land that is untouched by time, and our uniqueness, diversity, and differences.

“Ricky Kej’s music is like a breath of fresh air which is sure to add an edge to our social media activities and video invites created for literary and cultural events in India and abroad. It will help us weave the spirit of universal environmental consciousness in all our endeavours,” said Manisha Jain, Branding & Communication Chief, Prabha Khaitan Foundation.
