Republic Day 2025 celebrations in Gujarat : Governor to lead ceremony in Tapi 

Surat : The 76th National Republic Day will be celebrated with grandeur across Gujarat on January 26, 2025. The state-level ceremony is set to take place in Valod Taluka, Tapi district, where Governor Acharya Devvrat will unfurl the national flag in the presence of Chief Minister  Bhupendra Patel.

Flag-unfurling ceremonies will also occur at various district headquarters, led by prominent state officials. In Idar, Sabarkantha, Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary will preside over the event, while in Panchmahal, Deputy Speaker  Jethabhai Ahir will oversee the celebrations. These events symbolize the unity and pride of Gujarat, involving participation from Cabinet Ministers, State Ministers, and District Collectors across the state.

Cabinet Ministers have been assigned specific districts to lead the flag-unfurling ceremonies.  Kanubhai Desai will officiate in Vapi, Valsad, while Rushikesh Patel will lead the ceremony in Ambaji, Banaskantha. Rajkot’s Kotda Sangani will see the participation of  Raghvajibhai Patel, and  Balvantsinh Rajput will oversee events in Panchot, Mehsana. Other key locations include Barwada, Botad, under Shri Kunvarjibhai Bawaliya, Jamnagar city under  Mulubhai Bera, and Sihor, Bhavnagar, under Dr. Kuberbhai Dindor. Ahmedabad’s Dhandhuka will host Bhanuben Babariya.

State-level Ministers will also play an integral role in the celebrations.  Harsh Sanghvi will lead the event in Gandhinagar city, Jagdish Vishwakarma in Kapadvanj, Kheda, and  Parshottambhai Solanki in Una, Gir Somnath. Navsari’s Jalalpore will see  Mukeshbhai Patel officiate, while  Praful Pansheriya will oversee Surat’s Umarpada celebrations.  Bhikhusinhji Parmar and  Kunvarjibhai Halpati will lead events in Jetpur Pavi, Chhota Udepur, and Bharuch city, respectively.

In addition to these prominent ceremonies, flag-unfurling events will be conducted under the leadership of District Collectors in districts such as Surendranagar, Anand, Porbandar, Amreli, Junagadh, Kutch, Vadodara, Narmada, Mahisagar, Dang, Patan, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Aravalli, and Morbi. These district-level celebrations will engage local communities and foster a collective sense of patriotism.
