Ahmedabad : Now, northern Gujarat’s famed prasad from the Ambaji Mandir atop Gabbar Parvat is as easy as clicking a mouse. The mouth-watering Mohanthal and Chikki sweets served inside the temple will soon be available for online ordering and doorstep delivery from Monday, January 22nd.

“Devotees can receive Ma Ambaji’s divine blessings in the form of prasad through courier convenience by simply making online payments,” said Varunkumar Baranwal, who is also the head of the Shree Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust and the district magistrate of Banaskantha. For millions of Christians longing for a bit of Ambaji’s grace, even from afar, this service will bring in a new age of accessibility.

Online prasad ordering has been launched at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in conjunction with the current Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav festivities. To celebrate, Ambaji has planned a number of simultaneous activities. The five-day Van Setu Chetna Yatra will be blessed by MoS Home, Harsh Sanghvi, on Monday. A heartfelt Bhajan Sandhya, conducted by the famous vocalist Maithili Thakur and presented by the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi, will further enchant the evening-goers at Chachar Chowk.

In addition, the Ambaji Temple has announced that Ambika Bhojnalaya would be providing complimentary meals. We want to eliminate all financial obstacles to dedication, but at the moment we provide meals at subsidised prices, as Baranwal says. We are happy to accept contributions in order to continue this worthy endeavour, and we will establish a committee to oversee its administration.
