RAJKOT, GUJARAT : Dr. Praveen Togadia, National President of the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad, emphasized that the Ram Mandir is a matter of faith for Hindus and not a political issue for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Addressing the BJP’s slogan ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’, he remarked, “I am a cancer surgeon, not an astrologer.”

Dr. Togadia arrived in Rajkot to oversee the Bajrang Dal training camp, which has been launched in 30 states. During his visit, he congratulated the Gujarat Police for apprehending four suspected terrorists at Ahmedabad airport. “Congratulations to Gujarat Police for catching four terrorists in Ahmedabad,” he said. “However, how many terrorists are there in the country that have not been caught? We should have a security system like Israel.”

Dr. Togadia highlighted the importance of enhanced national security measures, drawing a parallel to Israel’s robust defense system. “We need a system where terrorists cannot enter this country like Israel,” he stated. “Barring a few incidents, terrorists cannot enter Israel even though Palestine is next to it. We should make similar arrangements to prevent them from entering India.”

He also discussed the growing public trust in the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad and other organizations. He noted the establishment of about 13,000 centers across the country where the Hanuman Chalisa is recited weekly. “This work is done by our workers for the safety of Hindus in both villages and cities,” Dr. Togadia explained. “We will collect food grains from one crore houses and distribute them to the poor.”

Expressing concern over the recent arrest of terrorists in Gujarat, Dr. Togadia questioned the broader security framework of the country. “These terrorists were caught from Gujarat at the last moment. They came to India from Sri Lanka. Only four were caught, but how many terrorists are in the country? Is our country becoming Afghanistan?” he asked.

Dr. Togadia called on all political parties to prioritize national security and urged citizens to participate actively in the electoral process. “All political parties need to think about this, and people should also come out to vote,” he said. “Ram Mandir is not an issue in this election, but a matter of faith.”

With the Lok Sabha elections in their final stages, Dr. Togadia expressed concern over the decreasing voter turnout in many states and appealed for heightened security measures to prevent the infiltration of terrorists and the spread of drugs. “There is a need to intensify security to arrest terrorists and curb drug trafficking in the country,” he reiterated. While he refrained from criticizing security agencies directly, he highlighted the necessity for a security system akin to Israel’s.
