AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT : The excitement of the IPL qualifier match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad was overshadowed by a health scare involving Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The actor, who arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday to support his team, was rushed to KD Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after succumbing to a heatstroke. However, after receiving first aid, he was discharged from the hospital.

Shah Rukh Khan had been in Ahmedabad for the past two days, cheering for KKR during their crucial match. Following the game on Tuesday, he returned to the ITC Narmada Hotel in Vastrapur late at night. However, his health deteriorated the next morning, prompting his immediate admission to KD Hospital.

Sources revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s health has since improved, and he is now in stable condition. Despite his recovery, he opted to forego his scheduled trip to Mumbai today, preferring to prioritize rest and recuperation.

The incident occurred amidst Shah Rukh Khan’s visit to the ITC Narmada Hotel on Monday, where the Kolkata team had been accommodated upon their arrival in Ahmedabad. The team received a warm welcome upon their arrival, with Shah Rukh Khan joining them shortly after.

As Shah Rukh Khan’s health scare demonstrates, the intense heatwave currently gripping Ahmedabad poses significant risks, especially for those engaged in outdoor activities. While the actor’s condition has improved, his hospitalization highlighted the importance of staying hydrated and taking precautions against heat-related illnesses during such sweltering conditions.

As the IPL tournament progresses, fans and well-wishers are relieved to hear of Shah Rukh Khan’s recovery and are hopeful for his continued well-being. The incident has also emphasized the need for adequate measures to ensure the health and safety of players, staff, and spectators during sporting events held in high-temperature environments.
