Rajkot : The Rajkot police have apprehended four individuals involved in a fraudulent scheme issuing fake appointment letters for LRD (Lokrakshak Dal) constable jobs. The accused had orchestrated a sophisticated operation wherein they established a fraudulent agency that offered bogus appointment letters to aspiring candidates, charging an exorbitant fee of Rs 4 lakh per letter.

The investigation revealed that the accused had meticulously designed a network to deceive individuals seeking LRD constable jobs. They exploited the desperation of job seekers by offering them fraudulent appointment letters along with seemingly genuine documents, effectively duping them into believing they had secured a job.

The four arrested individuals have been identified as Pradeep Makwana, Bharat Makwana, Bhavesh Chavda, and Bala Chavda, all hailing from Jasdan. The prime accused, Bhavesh Chavda, orchestrated the operation, employing a range of tactics to ensnare victims. Chavda is alleged to have dispatched counterfeit call letters through postal services, and he also hired a tele-caller based in Gandhinagar to make convincing phone calls to unsuspecting candidates.

One of the accused, Pradeep Makwana, was found to have successfully secured a LRD constable job using a fake appointment letter himself. The investigation uncovered that the accused had issued a total of approximately 29 fraudulent appointment letters as part of their elaborate scheme.

Law enforcement officials have registered a case against the accused and have initiated thorough investigations into the matter. The arrest of these individuals sheds light on the extent of the scam and serves as a reminder of the challenges posed by such criminal activities that prey on the hopes and dreams of job seekers.

The Rajkot police are committed to unraveling the entire operation and bringing all individuals involved in this deceitful scheme to justice.
