Gandhinagar : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 amid the prestigious gathering  of global leaders, presidents, prime ministers, and CEOs from numerous nations on January 10, 2024.

Preparations for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit gained momentum as Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a crucial meeting to finalize arrangements for the event, scheduled from January 10 to 12, 2024, at the Mahatma Gandhi Mandir in Gandhinagar.

The state government confirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in inaugurating the summit on January 10. This summit marks its milestone 10th edition, originating during Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Led by Patel, the core committee meeting included key figures such as Finance Minister Kanu Desai, Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, Industries Minister Balvantsinh Rajput, and State Ministers Harsh Sanghvi and Jagdish Vishwakarma.

The summit’s agenda, highlighted by S J Haider, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department, underscores pivotal themes: Industry 4.0’s role in propelling the Industrial Revolution, Technology and Innovation fostering Inclusive Growth, and the imperative shift towards Sustainability.

Kicking off proceedings, a five-day global trade show commences on January 9, spotlighting Techade, disruptive technologies, and essential service sectors.

Diverse initiatives are planned, including reverse buyer-seller meets, vendor development endeavors, and specialized seminars dedicated to nurturing startups, MSMEs, and women entrepreneurs during the trade show.

The Vibrant Summit’s comprehensive agenda encompasses a spectrum of conferences, seminars, and personalized meetings.

As anticipation builds, the summit will delve into pivotal discussions on Industry 4.0’s impact, aircraft ancillary product MRO opportunities, Dholera’s Smart City development, Gujarat’s vision for a developed India by 2047, and initiatives fostering holistic development through seminars, conferences, and panel discussions.

Evening events at GIFT City will host country and state seminars, alongside the prestigious Global FinTech Leadership Forum.

Subsequent days will spotlight seminars on Technology and Innovation, Semiconductor and Electronics, Port-Based City Development, Workforce Development for Industry 4.0, Skill Development for Youth, EV Startups, and other vital themes.

The final day promises a showcase of the MSME Conclave, Economy De-Carbonization, Wastewater and Energy Recycling, Circular Economy Opportunities, Gujarat’s leadership in Green Hydrogen, and a series of seminars on energy, concluding the summit on a high note.

With registrations exceeding 72,500 attendees and business organizations from 72 countries, the summit is poised to be a significant milestone in fostering international collaborations and economic advancements.

Gujarat chief secretary Raj Kumar, chief principal secretary to the CM K Kailashnathan and principal advisor to the CM Dr. Hasmukh Adhia were among those who remained present in the core committee meeting.
