NDDB subsidiary IDMC donates ECG machines to PHCs under CSR

Anand (Gujarat) : National Dairy Development Board’s wholly-owned subsidiary IDMC Ltd with support of Nivedita Foundation donated ECG Machines to various Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) across Anand district, under its CSR initiative.

Shri Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB & IDMC Ltd handed over the ECG machines to seven PHCs in presence of Mrs Nipa Kamal Patel, Chairperson, Nivedita Foundation and Shri Rajesh Subramaniam, Managing Director, IDMC Ltd. Dr Vijay Shah, Medical Director, Indu Research Health Foundation and Dr Kaushal Gandhi, Pulse Cardiac Institute were also present during a programme held here on Saturday.

On this occasion, Chairman, NDDB said IDMC Ltd is not only committed towards development of Indian dairy sector by manufacturing affordable equipment and machinery but also through its activities for welfare of citizens providing healthcare support through association with various hospitals and also eradication of malnutrition through Giftmilk scheme of NDDB Foundation for Nutrition.

He said, “Any major health crisis can have a devastating impact on families by way of significant expenditure or even loss of a breadwinner. Therefore, having adequate capacity and infrastructure to secure health of its citizens should definitely be part of any guiding framework of a responsible society.”

Shri Shah further said, “I congratulate both the organizations, Nivedita Foundation and IDMC Ltd for coming together and taking a firm step towards prevention and early detection of heart related complications for the citizens of this area.”

Expressing gratitude towards IDMC Ltd for the support, Mrs Patel said Nivedita Foundation identified a need to fill the existing resource gap in healthcare domain and chose to partner with IDMC Ltd to enhance healthcare monitoring and treatment support in Anand. “We Believe, this collaboration with IDMC will improve healthcare conditions in rural regions,” she added.

The Primary Health Centres that will benefit from this activity are located at Navli, Virsad, Nar, Sarsa, Bhetasi, Vadod and Bhadhani.
