Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 29: La Forêt Education Charitable Trust, an Ahmedabad-based NGO committed to empowering underprivileged communities through quality education, skill development, and community building, successfully organized Miles N Minds, a community-driven run that brought together students, professionals, families, and fitness enthusiasts for a meaningful cause. The event featured 2KM, 5KM, and 10KM race categories, encouraging participants of all age groups and fitness levels to run not just for their health, but for a brighter future for children. What made the initiative truly unique was its transparent impact—100% of the proceeds from the event will be used to provide educational stationery kits and learning resources to children in need. Participants also had the opportunity to personally hand over these school kits, witnessing firsthand the difference their contribution created. The event was graced by renowned television actor Gaurav Wadhwa, known for his performances in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Thapki Pyar Ki, Naagin, and currently Tum Dena Saath Mera on Star Plus. Joining the participants on the track, he actively took part in the run and addressed the gathering. While addressing the media, Gaurav Wadhwa said, “I strongly believe that education should be accessible to every child. Alongside academics, extracurricular activities and sports deserve equal recognition as valuable career paths. Miles N Minds is bridging this very gap by creating opportunities where talent is abundant but access is limited. I am proud to be associated with an initiative that is transforming lives through action.”

This event is not just a fundraiser—it is the beginning of the change we aspire to bring to society through education and community support.” Rashi Verma, Event Director and NGO Head, while addressing the media, said, “Miles N Minds is the realization of our vision to redefine education beyond books. We believe that arts, sports, and extracurricular activities are equally important in shaping confident and capable individuals, and this initiative is a step towards making those opportunities accessible.” Anvesha Dubey, Project Manager for the NGO and Event Manager for Miles N Minds, while addressing the media, said, “Our goal is simple—to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.
