Major fire breaks out at Atul Limited’s RM plant in Valsad

Valsad (Gujarat) [India]: A major fire broke out at the integrated chemical factory unit of Atul Limited located in Atul village in Valsad district here on Wednesday. A major fire call was announced following the fire in the chemical unit of the company.

Sources said the fire broke out on the east side of the RM Plant of Atul Limited on Wedneday afternoon. The fire was so massive that the entire Atul town was covered under the black cloud spread fear among the residents.

Fire vehicles from Valsad, Pardi, Sarigam, Atul and Vapi rushed to the spot to take the massive fire under control. A brigade call was declared following the major fire at Atul Limited.

Atul Ltd is an integrated chemical company founded by Kasturbhai Lalbhai on September 5, 1947, in India. The Company manufactures 900 products and 400 formulations and owns 140 retail brands.
