Hardoi Road Accident: Two Labourers Killed After Truck Hits ट्रैक्टर-Trolleyon Ganga Expressway

Hardoi: Two labourers were killed and a tractor driver was seriously injured after a truck rammed into a tractor-trolley from behind on the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday afternoon.

The accident took place in the Pali police station area when the tractor-trolley was returning from Jalalabad in Shahjahanpur district. The workers had gone there earlier in the day carrying interlocking bricks. While they were returning after unloading the bricks, a truck travelling behind them crashed into the tractor-trolley near pole number 280.8 on the expressway.

Two Labourers Declared Dead at Hospital

The victims were identified as Anuj Kashyap, 30, and Nanhe Bhaiya Kashyap, 22, both residents of Qazi Sarai locality in Pali. The tractor driver, identified as Pawan, was also seriously injured in the accident.

All three injured people were taken to the Sawayajpur Community Health Centre by ambulance. Doctors declared Anuj and Nanhe Bhaiya dead after their arrival. Pawan was initially taken to Pali for treatment and was later referred to a district hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

Driver Seriously Injured

According to the report, Pawan jumped from the tractor after the collision. The tractor subsequently overturned and fell on his leg, leaving him seriously injured.

The crash caused severe damage to the tractor-trolley. Local authorities and emergency teams reached the site after receiving information about the accident.

Families Informed, Grief in Pali

Both deceased labourers were residents of Pali’s Qazi Sarai locality. Their families reached the hospital after receiving information about the accident.

Nanhe Bhaiya was reportedly the only son of his mother. His father had died earlier. Anuj was the youngest of three brothers and was unmarried, according to relatives quoted in the report.

The deaths left both families in deep grief, with relatives and local residents gathering after the news spread.

Police Begin Investigation

Sawayajpur police station SHO Prince Kumar said the bodies had been taken into custody and further legal proceedings had been initiated. Police are carrying out the required procedures following the accident.

Another local report said the truck driver allegedly fled the spot after the crash, while police began taking further action in the case.
