Surat : Lexus-Octonus (Technomist) Group’s service and support division, known as Technomist (Botswana), was officially launched on March 29 in Diamond Technology Park, Botswana by Bernard Bradley, senior vice president of De Beers (Sales) Botswana.

When it comes to technology, the diamond industry relies on Lexus-Octonus (Technomist) Group (https://www.lexusindia.in ). From Surat, India to other diamond cutting centres around the world, the diamond industry has benefited greatly from the Group’s and their partners’ innovative tools and technologies over the past 30 years.

With their patented Spectroscopic technologies, the Group has emerged as a leader in recent years, providing resourceful support for the planning and manufacturing of the large and valuable rough diamonds, and an even stronger hold in fancy coloured rough diamond for fetching splendid vivid, intense colour in future polished diamonds.

Their most well-known invention, the Galahad Compass, has sold over 350 units, and is used by only a select group of businesses; these include Ankit Gems, KGK, K G Mfg, K P Sanghvi, Star Gems, and Starrays. This is a straightforward tool, similar to Google Maps, that assists in training inexperienced locals and creating massive employment opportunities in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, and other diamond cutting centres.

Companies that are De Beers sight holders in Gaborone, Botswana, as well as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), De Beers, and the newly formed Botswana government-backed DTC(Botswana) have all purchased a great deal of equipment from LEXUS, much of which will require not only routine maintenance but also active handholding support and training from Lexus Trained Instructors.

Galahad Compass and Lexus Technologies’ state-of-the-art equipment in Botswana, such as the Helium Polish, Immersion glass for inclusion plotting, X-ray DiaTomography with 3D Glassless screens, the new range of 3D Microscopes (known as DALS), the Dibox, and the Cutwise.com platform for value-added diamonds, are expected to have a significant impact on the diamond manufacturing and sales industry.

During De Beers Sight week, Utpal Mistry, Director and Co-Founder of Lexus-Technomist Group, gave a conference and talked about new innovations in the diamond industry, which was well received by the audience of more than a hundred.

KGK group’s Nitin Dhaddha and Sidharth Goti, Aurostar’s Arpan Mehta, Venus Jewels’ Hitesh and Samveg Shah, Starrays’ Krupesh Shah, Rosyblue’s Sahil Mehta, and Diarough’s Ugam Shah and Ritesh Dagli were among the guests of honour.
