A confirmed order book sale of 700 Crores was finalised and signed at the expo itself with most of the buyers hailing from entire South India, London, and Thailand. Around 4300 Crores of purchases have also been orally confirmed and in process.

Most of the buyers were from Singapore, Hongkong, the Middle East, Delhi & NCR. From the above total mentioned numbers, the biggest deal of it was bagged by Banderi Lab Grown Diamonds and all their major buyers were from the Middle East.

With an astounding success in the second edition, the LDJS has emerged as India’s biggest lab-grown diamond and jewellery exhibition for Indian and international jewelers.

Spread across 5000 Square Metres, LDJS 2022 had more than 100 exhibitors showcasing their varied range of diamonds and jewellery to the buyers & visitors. It had 9 countries participating in it and 12 Interactive Trade Sessions and Fashion Shows, with models walking the ramp showcasing an array of LGDJS from various manufacturers and exhibitors from India and across the globe.

LDJS 2022 is supported by the Bharat Diamond Bourse, Surat Diamond Bourse, The Mumbai Diamond Merchant’s Association, The Lab-Grown Diamond Association – Surat; and by Heera Zhaveraat (HZ) International.

Shashikanth Dalichand Shah, Chairperson, Lab Grown Diamond & Jewellery Promotion Council said, “We are extremely delighted by this tremendous response for this edition. The buyers and visitors were delighted to have such a wide range of LGDs manufactured in India to choose from. Even the various interactive sessions organised by us gave deep insights to the buyers”

Rajesh Bajaj, Convenor, Lab Grown Diamond & Jewellery Promotion Council said “This is a dream come true moment not only for the Council but the entire LGDJs market in India. This response will boost the council to do much better in our forthcoming editions.  Today on the closing day, we already had more than half of the exhibitors confirming their participation for the next edition & requesting us to organise it as soon as possible”
