Chasing a modest target of 156, LSG suffered a major batting collapse but somehow managed to tie the match in the final moments. No. 9 batter Mohammed Shami smashed a last-ball six off a wayward Kartik Tyagi, who conceded 16 runs in the final over to push the game into a Super Over.
Narine’s Super Over Magic
In the Super Over, KKR spinner Sunil Narine produced a match-winning spell, conceding just one run and picking up two wickets, leaving LSG with almost no chance.
Rinku Singh then calmly finished the chase by hitting a boundary off the very first ball from Prince Yadav, sealing a dominant win for KKR.
Rinku Singh’s Rescue Act
