New Delhi: Kishor Parihaar is a popular figure among South Mumbai’s youth, and he has a sizable following that is actively campaigning for him to be elected as an MLA. Parihar’s rise from college leader to popular youth idol has been an inspiration to many because of his unyielding commitment to addressing student difficulties.
Kishor Parihaar, whose full name is Kishor Dungarmal Parihaar, rose to prominence as a student leader and is now well respected for his diligence and dedication to improving campus life. Parihaar stepped up to the plate as a problem-solver and dove headfirst into the difficulties students were having, taking them on as his own and working tirelessly to find viable answers.
As word of Parihar’s success spread, students from outside of K.P.B Hinduja College started coming to him for advice. He became president of all South Mumbai colleges because he really cared about the students there. Students from all levels of education started coming to him for help with matters ranging from admissions and late tuition payments to principal misbehaviour. Kishor Parihaar’s caring attitude made him a role model for the local kids, who looked to him for advice and encouragement.
South Mumbai Nationalist Congress Committee (the NCP’s state chapter) named Kishor Parihaar as its Working President on July 11, 2020. Parihar’s constant cheerleader, Member of Parliament Supriya Sule, was there for him the whole way.
Recognizing the urgency of the COVID-19 pandemic, Parihaar took a proactive stance and launched the South Mumbai Coronavirus Task Force. This initiative encompassed services such as free home delivery of essential goods, emergency medical assistance, and mobile COVID-19 testing kits. Parihar’s commitment to public service extended beyond his political aspirations, as he utilized his position as a director in Niiv Infra Vell Pvt. Ltd, involved in import-export business, to support the underprivileged.
