Vipul Mishra, the CEO of Search Homes India

New Delhi : Vipul Mishra is a successful entrepreneur who started from scratch and who has established himself as a market leader in India’s property search market. The road has not been a bed of roses for Mr. Vipul. As the old adage goes, “The greatest things in life are achieved by struggle and hardships,” and Mr. Vipul is living proof that his dogged persistence and hard work paid off by allowing him to become a prosperous businessman despite the many challenges he faced.

The journey began in 2011 when Mr. Vipul moved to Bangalore to enrol in the MBA programme at the International Institute of Business Studies. He worked as a math, economics, and bookkeeping tutor while pursuing his MBA. Mr. Vipul persevered in his goals despite being subjected to the bourgeois riddle of the financial crisis. He spent two years after earning his MBA in 2013 working in a variety of fields before settling on real estate. Search Homes India is one of the top real estate service providers in India, and it was founded by Vipul Mishra and Pankaj Singh in 2015. Mr. Vipul’s exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing strategies, time management, accounting, and ingenuity helped the company achieve remarkable success in a relatively short period of time.

He started his real estate firm in part to aid property owners who are also operators of small or expanding construction businesses but face severe difficulties in doing so due to intense market competition. Another reason was to assist customers in purchasing government-approved properties from legitimate developers without having to deal with any kind of fraud.

Mr. Vipul had to overcome many difficulties along the way. At the outset, he was hampered by his inexperience with business matters such as marketing, competition, and payment terms with builders. Mr. Vipul’s business suffered greatly after the demonetization announcement made by the Government of India in 2016. Demand for housing in India fell by 40%. When the Real Estate Regulatory Act was unexpectedly enacted in 2017, it dealt another blow to the real estate industry. (RERA). Without RERA clearance, developers could not release new homes, and those who failed to register their developments on time faced penalties. The announcement of GST in 2019 added to the already considerable uncertainty among potential property purchasers, resulting in a further decline in the market. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 caused a dramatic drop in sales, making it extremely difficult for Mr. Vipul’s business to recoup its fixed costs. However, after the pandemic, a slew of properties hit the market, creating a wealth of new opportunities for growth. Since then, Mr. Vipul’s business has expanded rapidly thanks to rising demand from the construction and real estate sectors and savvy marketing and advertising.

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Vipul grew up in a middle-class family. His hobbies and interest, such as playing cricket, reading political news, and discussing entrepreneurial ideas with like-minded people, reflect his imaginative mindset and entrepreneurial drive. Despite all the struggles, Mr. Vipul never lost his motivation and continued to work even harder. He drew inspiration from business leader Ratan Tata, who is known for his risk-taking abilities and the belief that no job is too small or too big. Moreover, his rejection of a job by a PAN India real estate company in 2015 inspired him to take the entrepreneurial route and start his own venture in the real estate industry. He got the much-needed push to pursue his dreams of building a successful company worthy of competing with big real estate players in the market.

With his unwavering commitment, hard work and dedication, Mr. Vipul has emerged as a successful entrepreneur in a challenging industry. Along with this, Vipul endeavours to offer ample employment opportunities for the youth of India. Vipul’s success story is an inspiration to several budding entrepreneurs who strives to make a mark in their chosen field, despite numerous obstacles. With a creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Vipul Mishra aspires to make a positive impact on the world and strive towards a better future.
