IIFD Surat Fashion Design Students Redefining Trends at FASHIONATE 2023

Surat : The Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC) Platinum hall in Sarsana played home to the International Institute of Fashion Designing’s (IIFD) groundbreaking fashion exhibition, FASHIONATE 2023. Over 160 aspiring fashion designers showcased their original works and debuted their designer wear during the event.

Presenting New Artistic Assemblages
The event showcased the student designers’ brilliant exhibition of creativity and ingenuity as they unveiled their designs for the next season. Unconventional manufacturing methods sparked a tidal surge of innovation in the textile and clothing sector, bringing with them new techniques, treatments, and value adds. IIFD Surat’s fashion students broke new ground by drawing inspiration from landmarks of ancient India like the Patrika Gate and Nalanda University. Topics including marine life conservation, the future of the internet, sustainability, and the responsible disposal of polyester scraps were also given ample attention.

Commercial and party clothes appropriate for a variety of events were also shown during the fashion presentation. Mr. Amit Agarwal, a renowned couturier and fashion designer, attended the exhibition and presided as the event’s main judge.
