Waterman Environmental Systems P Ltd (Colombo), a Channel Partner of HECS STPs, recently entered the Sri Lankan market with a half-day technical seminar on the “Importance of Sewage Treatment and Packaged Compact IOT Enabled STPs from HECS for decentralised treatment” held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Along with the best architects and consultants in Colombo, the event drew heavy representation from the hospitality, healthcare, and building sectors.
Mr. Thomas, Vice President of HECS, spoke at the occasion, and he stressed the significance of wastewater decentralisation and reuse. He spoke about how HECS has been on the forefront of innovation in the water treatment industry, citing the company’s MBR range and the use of AI and IoT in its Packaged STPs as examples. Moreover, he said that these cutting-edge options had been modified so that they would function in Sri Lanka.
According to HECS’s MD, Dr. JR Moses, the company’s state-of-the-art ‘SMART’ Amaze and Ultima+ Packaged STPs will usher in a technological revolution in the Packaged STP market in Sri Lanka. He said that HECS has been an industry leader in terms of implementing cutting-edge technological advances, citing the fact that the business was the first in India to use things like artificial intelligence and the internet of things in small and medium power plants. He said that HECS’s production facilities have been expanded to the point where they can now produce up to 400-500 units per year in response to the company’s fast growth on both the local and international markets. Additionally, he said that HECS had secured its first orders from Sri Lanka and was prepared to usher in a sewage treatment and reuse revolution in the Island Country.
