Gulab Partners with Arjun Rampal to Celebrate Life’s Finer Flavours

Established 1966 Gujarat oil brand positions cold-pressed range as lifestyle choice through understated campaign narrative.

New Delhi [India], January 6: Gulab, a legacy edible oil brand, announces its latest campaign, The Good Side of Life, featuring Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. For their range of cold-pressed oils, the film steps beyond category claims and invites people to rediscover the beauty in everyday moments.

Adopting a creative visual language, the campaign avoids dramatic storytelling and instead is shot in familiar, lived-in settings. It reminds you to find beauty in quiet, unembellished moments from daily life, and through it seamlessly makes its product a part of your day-to-day life.

Gulab’s cold-pressed oil portfolio includes groundnut, sesame, mustard and variants of coconut oil. These oils are slowly churned in a wooden ghani, reflecting the brand’s long-standing approach to purity and care. The idea of slow living draws from this process and informs the tone of the campaign.

Speaking about the campaign, Dishit Nathwani, Director and CEO, Gulab, said, “At the heart of ‘The Good Side of Life’ is the belief that good choices don’t need to be loud or announced. They should feel natural and fit seamlessly into everyday life. We wanted to create space for moments, whether alone or with family, and remind people that not everything needs to be rushed or improved. Sometimes, what already feels good is enough.

Arjun Rampal’s association with the campaign reinforces its understated tone. Known for his calm and grounded presence, Rampal said he connected with the campaign’s focus on simplicity and living well without instruction or excess.

“What appealed to me was that the film doesn’t try to sell a product. It leaves space for viewers to connect with it in their own way, only subtly telling them that eating well is one of the many things that can help them elevate their lifestyle,” he said.

The film is now live across Gulab’s digital platforms, encouraging people to savour what is already good in their lives and asking them to shift to better, thoughtful products. It serves as a gentle reminder for all of us that life doesn’t always need to be accelerated or improved. Sometimes, the good side of life is simply about slowing down enough to notice it.

About Gulab

Established in 1966 by visionary founder Shri Mukesh Nathwani, Gulab began as a small oil mill in Mangrol, Gujarat, with a simple promise: to deliver edible oils in their purest form. Over the decades, that promise has helped Gulab grow into one of India’s most trusted edible oil brands, finding a place in millions of kitchens across the country.

From its first groundnut oil mill to multiple state‑of‑the‑art processing and packaging units, Gulab today offers a comprehensive portfolio that includes groundnut, mustard, sesame, and coconut oils, alongside other edible oils tailored for diverse regional tastes and cuisines. A dedicated cold‑pressed range under the Gulab Goodness brand, launched in 2019, champions traditional wooden ghani extraction, gently pressing oils at low temperatures to retain their natural flavour, aroma, and nutrients.

Under the leadership of Director and CEO Dishit Nathwani, Gulab has further diversified into healthier food categories, including cold‑pressed oils, organic staples, and clean‑label offerings, while retaining its core belief that the business of business is people. With a growing presence in cities such as Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Surat, Rajkot, and Indore, Gulab continues its founding mission: to help people lead more wholesome lives by starting with the most fundamental ingredient in every kitchen – good oils.
