Gujarat : GSRTC live tracking app revolutionises bus travel for 7.50L passengers

Ahmedabad : More than 750,000 passengers using the buses run by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) can feel comfortable during their long-distance journeys throughout the state. The GSRTC live tracking mobile application is now in use across over 8,000 buses, allowing passengers to effortlessly monitor their buses with just a click. 

GSRTC buses are currently in operation, providing safe and timely transportation for passengers traveling between states, districts, and various destinations. With Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at the helm and Transport Minister Harsh Sanghvi leading the charge, significant transformations have taken place within the Gujarat ST Corporation. 

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation has made it simpler for passengers to monitor bus locations with the introduction of the ‘GSRTC Live Tracking Mobile Application’. Currently, over 8,000 buses in Gujarat are equipped with a live tracking system, benefiting more than 750,000 passengers.

Passengers using the GSRTC Live Tracking Mobile Application can view the real-time location of their bus by entering the bus number or PNR No. Passengers can access real-time information about the location of all buses on their route by entering their boarding and alighting details in the application. Passengers, particularly women and the elderly, can monitor the real-time location of the bus via their family members while traveling alone, ensuring they are informed about the bus’s arrival time. This application allows passengers to efficiently track the live location of the bus, enabling them to plan their journeys effectively and save valuable time in reaching the bus station.

In a move to enhance the experience for bus travelers, GSRTC has rolled out mobile applications for both Android and iOS that provide real-time tracking of buses. Currently, 7.19 lakh passengers are utilizing the GSRTC Live Android Application, while over 41,000 passengers have opted for the GSRTC Live iOS Application, according to the latest information from the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation.
