Gujarat Gears Up for VIP Rush at Vibrant Summit 2024

This year's summit, held from January 10-13, 2024, marks the first time since the pandemic that such an extensive medical setup has been deployed. The sheer scale is impressive: 200 medical personnel, including doctors and nurses, are on high alert, with civil hospitals designated as base stations. Additionally, dedicated medical teams will be stationed round-the-clock at strategic locations like GIFT city, the Mahatma Mandir exhibition center, and Hotel Leela. Even Mahatma Mandir itself has been equipped with two ICU beds for immediate critical care.

Even Mahatma Mandir itself has been equipped with two ICU beds for immediate critical care.

The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with a global gathering of investors, political leaders, and business giants, underscores the need for a robust emergency response. Recognizing this, the authorities have meticulously planned a rapid response system.

“All emergency services will be on standby,” emphasized an official from the fire team. “We have strategically positioned response teams to reach any location within minutes. The event venues are chosen for their quick access to major highways, ensuring efficient movement in case of an emergency.”

Beyond medical attention, the plan encompasses fire and rescue services, ambulances, and disaster management teams. A central command center at Gandhinagar Civil Hospital will coordinate all emergency responses, ensuring swift and seamless action.
