Gujarat BJP appoints new district and city presidents ahead of leadership change

Ahmedabad : The Gujarat BJP has announced new district and city presidents across the state, marking a significant leadership reshuffle. The new appointments include Chandu Makwana as BJP’s Junagadh district president and Atul Kanani for Amreli. Additionally, Kirtisinh Vaghela has been appointed for Banaskantha, Bharat Rathod for Surat, and Anil Patel for Gandhinagar. Other key appointments include Bhurabhai Shah in Navsari, Neel Rao in Narmada, and Mayur Patel in Botad.
The leadership change extends to city units as well. Krunal Shah has been named as the BJP president for Bhavnagar city, Gaurav Ruparelia for Junagadh city, and Jayprakash Soni for Vadodara city. In Mehsana, Girish Rajgor has taken charge as the new district BJP president. The move is part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its organizational structure ahead of upcoming elections and political developments in Gujarat.
