Surat: The FINIX Circus has brought unparalleled excitement back to Surat after a long hiatus of 20 years. Hosted in the German Dome, located opposite VR Mall on Dumas Road, this event has won the hearts of Suratians across all age groups. The grand structure, complete with ample parking, has created a mesmerizing experience for families and individuals alike, running for 10 more days to continue delighting the public.

The circus offers two shows from Monday to Friday at 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM, while weekends and public holidays feature three shows at 3:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 9:30 PM. The performances are attracting large audiences, from toddlers to the elderly, offering a mix of traditional and contemporary acts.

The circus revival traces back to 2008 when it saw a surge of popularity in Surat, with a mix of animal performances. However, following the government’s ban on animal acts, the circus scene in India began to fade. To continue the tradition and bring back the thrill of live entertainment, Madhubhai Bhalar of FINIX Circus, along with Dhirenbhai and Mahendrabhai from Art India Group, decided to restart the circus culture in the region.

Madhubhai Bhalar, the founder of FINIX Circus, shared his deep-rooted passion for entertainment, having worked in magic shows, fairs, and circuses for over 40 years. His goal is to give a platform to over 15,000 circus artists in India, and by bringing FINIX Circus back, he aims to reignite the spark of this art form in the hearts of audiences.

This spectacular show features 45 talented performers from various parts of India, including Gujarat, Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Kerala, as well as international artists from Utopia. The lineup includes acrobats, jugglers, aerial artists, and more, with a special highlight being a Utopian Yoga performance that leaves the audience astounded.

Mahendrabhai Shah of Art India Group explained that the circus is hosted in a German Dome, a cutting-edge structure designed to withstand fire, rain, and extreme temperatures. The dome, constructed with the help of skilled craftsmen from Ahmedabad, spans an impressive 200 × 130 square feet, offering a safe and comfortable experience for both performers and the audience. The venue seats 1,500 people, making it the largest circus in India, and includes all necessary fire safety measures.
